DigiVid.co.uk is a new community site for people interested in video editing at various levels. we aim to provide resources and a place on the net where like minded people can meet and share their knowledge on the subject of video editing.
This site is your site so we welcome suggestions as to what should be included in the site. We are currently building a tutorials section, so if you know your way around one of the editing packages, please help out with a tutorial or two.
If you have videos already completed, the post links in the showcase section of the forum and we will feature the good ones on the main site.
Add a review for your favourite editing software, help out people looking for new software by putting your point of view. tell us what you think are the pros and cons of the different editing packages
Let us know what hardware you use, not just your PC specs but what camera do you use, do you use a separate audio recording system.

Submit you questions, tutorials, solutions ideas and well add them to the site building an extensive resource for video editors both new and experienced.
Looking for a tutorial on an effect, can't find what you need to complete that video project, then sign up and post your request in the forum and we will see what we can come up with. If you have a technique you use to produce a specific effect or a workaround for a problem then submit it and we will include it in the site.
We aim to build one of the best free resources on the internet for Digital Video production, so if you have anything you would like to contribute please feel free to join our community.

The Tutorials section is a compilation of some of the best tutorials taken from our community forum members and included on the main site. Whatever software you use, share your knowledge with other users.
Post your tutorial on the forum under the relevant package topic, and if the tutorial is needed for the main site we will contact you and arrange to host any files needed for the tutorial including the pictures.
DigiVid.co.uk Showcase
So you have finally mastered the art of video editing and you're just itching to share your work with the whole world. Well, if you can host your video on the internet, send us the embed code and we will add it to a page for everyone to see!
Do you have a completed project you would like to share, we will let you have a page to showcase your video project. Whether you have created a short thriller, comedy, or action film, or a family wedding and you want to show it off. You could also include a tutorial on how you achieved some of the effects/transitions in your production.
Post links and information about your project in the showcase section of the community forum and you may even get featured on the showcase on the main site.
